How do you know if you’re going to heaven? Maybe you don’t personally struggle with this question, but yet you find yourself stumbling with your words when trying to explain it to someone else. Or perhaps you aren’t quite sure your ticket into heaven is valid.
Since childhood I have known the Lord and been assured – I am in. Of course, that doesn’t mean I have always walked the straight path. I have wandered away, doubted him, been angry with him, and yes, of course, I continually sin. After all, I am human.
Maybe like me, you believe God’s grace and love are more significant than anything we do or don’t do. Your focus is more on growing your relationship with him here and now while on earth.
But then someone close to you brings up – “If God is so good – why don’t good people get into heaven?” Will you be able to answer with something more tangible than a feeling?
Last week, Stacy Pardoe shared a post with us on Grace and Truth Christian Link-Up where she eloquently explained the answers on how do I know if I’m going to heaven. She walks us through a challenging conversation with a friend and uses simple, clear, language to explain how we can be assured we will be in heaven. If you missed it, be sure to read it today, regardless of whether you struggle with the question or not.
Please welcome, Stacey Pardoe. You can find her beautiful website here where she writes about Encountering God in the Ordinary.

Thanks for sharing your linkup with us this week on the #LMMLInkup.
Thank you for hosting a wonderful Link-up. Maree
Our pastor talked about this today. Most people think they will, but, sadly, many believe it’s based on good works. May that drive us to share the gospel with those we know.
Donna, You are so right we should be driven to share the gospel. It is hard to believe our salvation is a gift. It is a pretty amazing gift. Feeling grateful tonight. Blessings, Maree
Thank you Maree,
Jennifer
You are so welcome. Thank you for joining us here at Embracing the Unexpected.
Maree, I joined the link up on Dawn’s page, but can’t see the button to be able to put it on my page. On your blog here I can see the button but there’s no embed code for it. Can you make the code visible, or please email it to me so I can put the button in my sidebar? Thank you!
Okay, I am not entirely sure this is what you are looking for, but I tried it out on a new post, and it worked. Sorry, I thought it came over with the picture. Technology sometimes gets the best of me.
This code below will link you to my website, not the particular post. That way you don’t have to grab a new one each time you link-up.
You can post the picture and then link it back to Dawn’s or any of the host’s websites.
I am sending you an email with the code.
