Do you let little things distract you from what is most important? If your answer is “YES,” you are in good company and will love our featured post for today.
Over time, I have read many life-changing books, and one of them was, “Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World.” Trust me, change is possible but having a strategy or two will help tremendously.
If you are a doer, sometimes it can be difficult to see when its time to stop and be in the moment. After all, doesn’t someone have to do the work?
I love Martha she was a doer like me, and we need people like her to get things done. When you read on in the Bible, you will see Martha did learn how to have her Mary moments. So not only was she a doer she was teachable. Love that lady!
What is your best strategy for pushing the Martha moments to the side and enjoying a Mary moment?
Today our featured post is from Pam Blosser who writes at Journey to Him. She has a beautiful way of leading others on their faith journey one trip and triumph at a time.
Pam shares some great wisdom in helping us to understand how to unleash the Mary in all of us.
I’m learning that some Martha moments can wait. And if I don’t intentionally seek out the Mary moments, the Martha in me may snatch them out of my hand. Pam Blosser
