We all tend to be living in a time of uncertainty. How are you managing through it? One way I get through is to embrace the unexpected with powerful scripture. Do you have a few verses that you keep close to your heart?

Featured Post
Over the remainder of July, I plan to step back a little from my typical routine to focus on God and embrace the unexpected this summer. The link-up will still be here each week – so don’t go anywhere! However, our featured post on Embracing the Unexpected will be absent until August. The good news is you can visit the other hosts and see what captivating articles they have picked to feature.
Please don’t leave without sharing a powerful scripture you are clinging to these days.
Now for this week’s link-up!
Let’s bless and encourage one another.

Enjoy your break!!!
Thank you!
Ps 46:10 is my favorite in this season of my life. Enjoy your rest Maree.
Bless you,
Jennifer
Jennifer – Thank you! I hope you are doing well in this strange season. Maree
Maree Dee, those already named are favorites for me too. I also go back to Ps. 23, “He restores my soul” and Romans 15:13. “13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Debbie,
I love the two you added. Thank you for contributing. I love seeing what other people hold close to their hearts. Maree
Maree,
Good for you in taking a little break! I think every blogger needs to do that on a regular basis – to simply unplug and tune out for awhile. It’s good for the soul. I hope and pray that you will be able to do this as I know you have a lot on your plate. May you be blessed in this time…
Always,
Bev xx
Bev,
Thank you for the encouragement. I am trying to get in a little rest in-between working on another project. Yesterday, I had a wonderful day at the lake. Are you taking time to rest this summer?
Maree
Joshua 1:9 is my go-to, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Psalm 138:8 speaks to me a lot these days because I am living in a situation where I am being lied on daily; “The Lord will vindicate me; your love, Lord, endures forever—do not abandon the works of your hands.” I like the KJV which says, “The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.”
Oh, Yvonne, that has to be so hard. I am so glad you found such a perfect verse. Praying for you. Maree
Hope you are resting and enjoy your break.
Michele, Thank you! I had a great day today at the lake with my husband. It was fun to hang out together. I hope you can enjoy some rest this summer. Maree
One I return to often is Isaiah 41:10: “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Also Isaiah 30:15b: “In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength.”
Also Psalm 16:11: “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
Barbara, Thank you for leaving three verses. Isaiah 30:15 spoke to me this evening. Maree
