How will the Easter story come alive for you? It never ceases to amaze me how God can reveal a distinct and personal truth to us during Holy Week. However, perhaps we need to pause and ponder to discover the truth.
An Easter Story Truth Revealed
One year, as I tried to give Easter just a glance, I walked away with a heart full of gratitude and awe. “Will You Let Easter Pass With Just A Glance? “Another year, the pain He endured for you and me sat heavily on my heart, “Will You Linger with Me in the Pain.” I am amazed by what a friend I have in Jesus. I can’t wait to see what He reveals to me this year.
Will you pause and ponder what God wants to reveal to you this time of year? Is there something new and unique that God wants you to see in the Easter story? #Easter #Jesus #God Share on XAre you in need of a bit of hope? Karen Friday wrote a beautiful post that is sure to fill your heart. She clearly shows us that hope is always on its way. “Hope was Always Coming and God Knew”
Happy Easter!
Happy Easter. What a day to remember the magnificent miracle of the resurrection. Thinking about this special day makes my heart do a little song and dance. I pray your day is filled to the brim with blessings.
What a good and generous Father we have! This year, I was especially drawn to consider darkness and light— the heaviness and the hope. Thanks for sharing, Maree! 🙂
Laura, Thank you for sharing what you were drawn to—the heaviness and the hope. I It’s always amazing how a small ray of light from God can change everything.

Pausing to ponder what God wants of us is a good practice at any time of year, but especially in this blessed season. Happy Easter, Maree!
Laurie,
I agree the pause is a good practice all of the time. God has so much He wants us to see. Happy Easter!

Our family has had some HUGE losses this year…but we have the comfort of knowing that our loved ones are now in the arms of Jesus. What a prefect place to be on Easter!!
Yes, I can’t think of a better place to be than in the arms of Jesus. What a comfort in the middle of your sorrow. I’m so sorry for your losses this year. Pausing to pray for comfort for you and your family before I hit the send button. Happy Easter!
I love how He continues to open our eyes to appreciate His sacrifice more and more. Have a blessed resurrection day!
Thank you! Praying you too, have a blessed Easter.
How we need Jesus and this work he did. Happy Easter!
Amen! Yes, We need Jesus. Happy Easter!
Maree, thank you for featuring my post on hope. So grateful to know the real Hope-giver! Happy Easter dear friend!
Karen,
It is always an honor to feature your hope-filled words that point us to the giver. Happy Easter, Maree
That’s true, this season often brings a different emphasis within the overarching remembrance of Christ’s death and resurrection. It’s not always completely new for me–sometimes it’s a needed reminder. This year I’ve been struck with how this all reminds me this world is not all there is. We get so caught up in day-to-day needs and forget this is just a stop on the way to our real home.
Barbara, Good point! You are so right; sometimes, it isn’t a new truth but a reminder. I love what you are gleaning from Easter this year. I think may need to consider that a bit more. Happy Easter! Blessings, Maree
