Are you missing out on the now? It is so easy to do with our busy lives. As we move about in the present moment, our minds go to what is next. Often times, this way of living will rob us of all this precious moment has to offer.
I have learned the beauty of living in the present moment; however, I still struggle to stay in the now. How about you? Share on X
This week I found myself rushing through my day, consumed with what was next when I ran across Mary’s insightful post. As I read her wise words, questions began to form in my mind – “Have I even lived today?” “Did I look up and enjoy what God gave me right now?”
Mary Geisen has a wonderful way of empowering women to walk toward brave faith one step at a time. I hope you will take the time “right now” to head over to Mary Geisen’s website and let her beautiful words pour over you.
“God has amazing goodness for me in the here and now.”

Hey Maree Dee. For the past several weeks when I choose crop my own image from the web for the link-up it puts in that picture you see above on number 8. Sorry. Is there a way to fix this?
Karen – I am so sorry you are not getting the picture you want. I will give it a try to see if I can figure it out. Do you remember which method you are using on #4?
When you get to number 4.
!. Do you have the first box clicked, let me crop my own image or auto crop?
2. Are you using the get an image from web page link or image from a file on the computer?
Try using on #4: Let me crop my own image and then get an image from a file on the computer.
Feel free to link a new post and see if that works.

Trying to stay more in the now has been one of my goals in the past few years. I tend to project toward the future–planning, scheduling–so this goal has been good for me, remembering that although God has been in our past and will be in our future, he is most present in the now.
Lisa, I love what you said, ”remembering that although God has been in our past and will be in our future, he is most present in the now.” Beautiful! Maree
Such good reminders. It’s all too easy to drift off to the past or future instead of truly embracing life now.
I am always working on staying in the present. Hard to do. Maree
Thank you for sharing Mary’s tender and seeking heart here today, Maree. So grateful for God’s willingness to meet us MORE than half way when we turn toward him with even the most half-hearted attention.
Yes, Michele, you are so right God is so willing. You said it well. I also love the way you described Mary – a tender and seeking heart. She is!
