Have you ever come before God and found yourself with absolutely no words? I don’t know about you, but I have lots of words so the first time it happened, it was a bit of a shock. As I knelt before God, my heart was heavy, and yet no words came out.
I frantically began scrambling to find some words, anything but all I could mutter was his name, “Jesus.” Frustration set in, how could I connect with God when I had no words?
Since that first time of silence, God and I have come to realize we don’t always need words. Sometimes just the mere mention of his name creates a deep connection and the tears from my eyes begin to flow. I know he is there with me.
However, sometimes I still want words or a place to start. This week our featured writer, Deb Wolf from Counting My Blessings shares with us,
