Did you set out to be a perfect parent? As I held my sweet baby in my arms, I vowed to be the ideal mom. But then it happened, I made mistakes, one right after the other. Perfection was not attainable! It was as if a light bulb went off and I began to see my Mom in a new light. She too had made mistakes, but she had done the best she could. Those simple words brought on new meaning.
This week I am featuring a post by Boma over at The April Journal. She wrote a touching story about a Mom who did the best she could.
