Do you ever sail through an unexpected event and then find yourself pondering the thoughts of what if the outcome had been different? Does it mess with your trust in God? After reading today’s featured post, it might leave you wanting to re-examine why getting stuck in the “what ifs” is not the best idea.
Don’t Get Stuck
“Trusting God is a choice.” We need to make it and stick to it even after the potential danger has passed.
Today we have a featured post which will keep you on the edge of your chair and maybe even questioning whether you truly trust in God. Heather Hart is an award-winning author who has an unquenchable passion for Jesus. She is writing today at Candidly Christian.
“No matter what life throws my way, I know that God is always good. And He is always on my side because Jesus is mine and I am His.” Heather Hart

I’m reading It’s Okay Not to Be Okay, and this concept of how paralyzing the “what ifs” can be is a big topic covered in the book. Trusting God is a choice, and I think it is the only way to truly build the deep connection with Him that we all need.
Crystal, I can’t wait to start, “It’s Okay Not to Be Oaky.” I have loved Sheila’s other books. I just downloaded the audiobook. I like to highlight, so I am not sure audio will be for me, but I am going to give it a whirl. Thank you for sharing about the book. Maree
“What if…” surely takes me down far too many rabbit runs. I am learning to trust in the One Who knows the answers…every day…every moment. Learning is the key word here. May your day be blessed.
Yes, trusting in God is the best plan. I hope your weekend has been good and full of blessings, Maree
Thanks for featuring my post (and all your kind words!), Maree!
Heather – It was my honor to feature your post. Thank you for sharing such an inspiring post with all of us. Maree
I get stuck on “what ifs” all the time. Especially at 3:00 in the morning. I am headed over to read the featured article. I fell like it was written just for me! 🙂
Laurie – Oh I despise those 3 am “what ifs.” Funny I thought I didn’t have too many “what ifs” until you reminded me of the middle of the night ones. They come to me in dreams. Hope you have had a nice weekend. Maree
