Are you taking in all God has to offer? Do you frequently have those sensational moments of wonder where you feel the Lord’s undeniable presence? My guess is if you are anything like me—those moments are found in certain places or doing certain things. However, what if we could learn how to experience them in our everyday ordinary lives?

The Places of Wonder

Are there certain places that bring out the “childlike” wonder in you? This summer, hands down for me; it is out in nature—taking “God walks” or driving on the mountain roads. My eyes dart from place to place, pointing, and shrieking—“Look, look” at this or that. And of course, my camera’s constant click is a typical sound one hears while accompanying me on the trail.

Missing All God Has to Offer

However, could we be missing all God has to offer by solely finding it in one place? What happens when it rains, or the air outside is unhealthy? Does that mean we have to miss out on God’s wonder and presence? The answer is a resounding “NO.” However, sometimes we need a little help in finding the wonder.

Featured Post

Today, our featured post is from Donna Bucher. She shares a way to reignite that wonder in our everyday lives. It is a simple practice and yet a struggle for many to attain. She reignited my desire to find all God has to offer in my daily routine. I hope she does the same for you.

“Seeking Him to reveal Himself as you go through your day brings a sense of awe to the most mundane tasks.” Donna Bucher

Did one of Donna’s mindfulness principles stand out as one you would like to tackle? Which one comes easy for you? Appreciation comes easy for me. However, the sacred pause is one that I struggle to practice and plan to begin this week.

When we learn to pause, we will begin to experience all God has to offer us in the moment. #pause Share on X

    1. Jennifer, I am not sure why you are having trouble. On my end, it doesn’t look like a new sign in. And it should work from anywhere. Thank you for letting me know and adding your post. I added it to the link-up.

  1. Thank you, Maree, I am honored that you shared my post on the Link-up today! I love your thoughts on if we are really taking in all God has to offer. So true, no matter the conditions, God can show us the wonder of His

    presence.

    1. It was an honor to feature your post. I love mindfulness. It has made a huge difference in my life. However, it is very difficult for me to attain, but God never ceases to amaze me when I do. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Maree

    1. Barbara, I too love those moments. My mind is blank tonight as to the name, but I read two books about this. I think the names were A Sudden Glory and When God Winks. Maree

  2. Thank you for highlighting this article. It’s beautiful, and a great reminder that even if those around me aren’t filled with wonder, I CAN be. I saw by your comment that you live in Utah. That makes us next-state neighbors. I live in Idaho (Boise). I love living in the West!

    Blessings,

    1. Patti – I love the idea that we can be full of wonder, even those around us are not. I do live in Utah part-time and California another part. Yes, we are neighbors. I have never been to Boise but would like to one day. We have friends that just moved there. I hear it is beautiful. Maree
